The FCC will be transitioning from the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program to the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) per congressional mandate.

All new EBB customers have until December 31st, 2021 to enroll in the EBB Program and will be able to receive $50 for households or $75 for those customers on Tribal lands. If you have not already enrolled in EBB Program, we encourage you to do so before the end of the year. Please visit
https://www.nmsurf.com/emergency-broadband-benefit-program/ for more details regarding qualification and information about the program and to sign up.

After December 31st, 2021, there will be a 60-day transition period before the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is fully implemented for those customers who are enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB).

This transition period will end on March 1, 2022. After the transition period, the maximum monthly benefit will change from $50 per month to $30 per month for households not located on qualifying Tribal lands. The monthly benefit will remain at up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.

We have been informed by USAC and the FCC that there will be new qualifying criteria for those customers who wish to continue with the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) once the transition period has ended.

More details on what those new criteria are will be released soon.

Please take note, some customers who are already enrolled through the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB) may need to re-qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
